Painting since the 1990’s, Dietrich now employs pixels instead of brush marks on his quixotic quest to try to understand how the universe works. Early 20th Century painting is a significant reference and his work is characterised by simplified forms, elementary animation and a cool spectrum palette with Bayer Matrix dithering.  All of Dietrich's work is 100% hand drawn and animated.
